  • Dr. Dan Allender is a pioneering therapist, author, and speaker known for his groundbreaking work in trauma and abuse recovery. For over 30 years, the Allender Theory has helped countless individuals find healing by connecting the redemptive story of the gospel with stories of harm. He holds a Master of Divinity from Westminster Theological Seminary and a Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from Michigan State University. Dan co-founded The Seattle School of Theology & Psychology in 1997 and The Allender Center in 2011, where he continues to serve as Professor of Counseling Psychology. He speaks globally on topics including trauma, sexual abuse recovery, intimacy, and marriage. He is the author of numerous influential books, including The Wounded Heart and Redeeming Heartache, and co-hosts The Allender Center podcast. Dan lives on Bainbridge Island with his wife Becky and enjoys time with their children and grandchildren.

  • Founder & Director of the Christian Counseling Center for Sexual Health & Trauma (CCC), Dr. Andrew J. Bauman, a psychotherapist, did his M.A. in Counseling Psychology from the Seattle School of Theology & Psychology (2010). He then received his doctorate from Northeastern University (2023). His dissertation was on studying the impact of sexism and abuse on women in the Protestant Church. Andrew is the author of seven books, and his newest book is called SAFE CHURCH: How to Guard Against Sexism & Abuse in Christian Communities (2025)

  • is the founder of an online ministry called BecomeNew, which seeks to help people grow spiritually one day at a time. He has worked as a pastor and teacher at churches in the Midwest and California. He is a graduate of Wheaton College and Fuller Theological Seminary. He is also an author and speaker. He lives in Santa Barbara with his wife Nancy.

  • Dr. Angie Schultz is a Professor of Sociology and Executive Director of the Social Research Lab at the University of Northern Colorado (UNCO) in Greeley, Colorado. With expertise in both qualitative research design, she has published nearly 30 peer-reviewed journal articles, 4 book chapters, and two co-authored textbooks. Her research on bottoms – the second-in-command in a sex trafficking operation – was recently published in The Journal of Human Trafficking. She has also given nearly 50 professional presentations at academic conferences. She has presented at the United Nations’ Commission on Crime Prevention & Criminal Justice in Vienna, Austria. Dr. Schultz has expertise in Social Return on Investment (SROI) Analysis, interviewing, focus groups, observational analysis, and content analysis and extensive expertise in studying the experiences of victims and survivors of sex trafficking,. In particular, Dr. Schultz has extensive experience using a trauma-informed approach to working with and interviewing victims & survivors of sex trafficking, a very vulnerable population.

    Tracy and her husband of 38 years live in the Texas Hill Country, enjoying time with their five adult children, one grandchild, and long evenings on their back porch with good food and good friends.
