THAt’s not my name
How to rebel against the words that are ruining your life
That’s Not My Name by Jeremy Williamson invites readers to consider the false names spoken over them in childhood, exploring how those names come to shape their lives, and how through honesty, grief, and slow, holy risk, they can come home to the name God spoke over them before the foundation of the world.

We all answer to names we were never meant to carry. They were spoken over us in childhood by the wounded people we trusted. We’ve been surviving them for decades without even knowing what they are. That's Not My Name walks into that story with accessible language, candor, and a refusal to rush the reader toward relief.
-
Jeremy helps us find words for our story, sits with us in the wound the way real healing requires, and only then walks us home — from the prison of our false name, through grief in the wilderness, to a seat at the Father's table that has always been ours to inhabit. Built on story rather than technique, Jeremy is honest about how slowly the work actually goes, and designed the reader-journey to be undertaken with trusted brothers or a counselor, not just a book one reads.

About The Author
Meet JEREMY WILLIAMSON
Jeremy Williamson has spent more than twenty-five years walking with men and women through the hardest and most honest parts of their stories. As a Storywork Coach at ReStory Counseling and the Director of Church Partnerships at Restoration Project, his work has brought him into conversations around identity, shame, childhood wounds, spiritual formation, and the generational impact of unresolved pain.
Jeremy is a storyteller and communicator willing to go into uncomfortable places with honesty and hope, grounded in the belief that the names we've carried do not have to define the lives we live.
Your seat at the table was never conditional

But they do not get the final word.
It's time to discover the name beneath the wounds. It's time to come home. It’s time to take your seat at the table.
