Find Men Who Want Something More
Most men have plenty of acquaintances but few places where they can have an honest conversation about life, faith, relationships, and the kind of men they are becoming.
Restoration Project Local Gatherings create that kind of place.

What Is a Local Gathering?
A Local Gathering is a place for men who want conversations that go deeper than work, sports, and the usual surface-level stuff.
These men aren’t perfect, and they don’t pretend to be. They’re simply willing to show up, tell the truth about their lives, and take another step toward becoming the men they were created to be.
Gatherings meet monthly in homes, churches, backyards, coffee shops, breweries, garages, and around fires across the country. Restoration Project provides each local guide with simple, approachable content and questions designed to create meaningful conversation.
Restoration Project is a Christian ministry, and the content is grounded in the Christian story. But you don’t need to have your faith figured out—or know the right things to say—to participate. You only need to be willing to show up.
What to Expect
Every gathering will have its own personality, but you can generally expect:
A relaxed, welcoming environment
Men from different backgrounds and stages of life
A simple conversation centered on what it means to live as a son, brother, and father
Honest questions without pressure to share more than you are ready to share
Practical ways to carry the conversation into everyday life
Occasional gatherings devoted entirely to food, competition, adventure, or building something together
This isn’t a class, a therapy group, or another meeting where someone talks at you for an hour. It’s a place to know other men—and gradually allow yourself to be known.
Becoming Restorative
Men, together
Our gatherings follow a repeating rhythm built around three ways every man is invited to live:
Son
Understanding the story that shaped you and learning to receive an identity you don’t have to earn.
Brother
Allowing yourself to be known, standing with other men, and becoming the kind of friend you need.
Father
Using your strength, presence, and experience to create life in others—whether or not you have children of your own.
Each gathering stands on its own, so you can join at any time. Together, they create a nationwide journey toward becoming a more honest, connected, and restorative man.
Ready to Join a Gathering?
Choose a location on the map and send a message to the local guide. He can tell you where the group meets, what the next gathering will be like, and anything else you need to know.
You’re not committing to a program. You’re simply taking one step toward finding better conversations and stronger brotherhood.
No Gathering Near You?
You don’t need to be a pastor, counselor, or professional speaker to guide a Local Gathering. You need to care about men, be willing to initiate, and create a space where honest conversation can happen.
Restoration Project will provide:
Monthly gathering content and discussion questions
A simple, repeatable gathering format
Guidance for creating a safe and welcoming environment
Support and connection with other local guides
Ideas for activities, service projects, and fun gatherings
You provide the place, invite the men, and help guide the conversation. We’ll help with the rest.
Got Questions? We’ve Got Answers
To Participate? Absolutely not.
Restoration Project is a Christian ministry, and our content reflects that foundation, but men at any point in their spiritual journey are welcome. You won’t be expected to pretend, perform, or know the right answers.
Guides are expected to have a shared faith in Jesus.
1
Do I need to be a Christian?
Do I have to share personal things?
2
No. Honest conversation is encouraged, but you decide how deeply you participate. No man should be pressured to share more than he is ready to share.
Is this only for fathers?
3
No. “Father” describes more than having children. Every man has the capacity to use his strength, wisdom, and presence to help other people flourish.
What does it cost?
4
Gatherings are free, but you are welcome to bring a snack or beverage to share. Reach out to your Guide to see what is normal at your local gathering. Occasionally groups will do a fun outing or service project that may require paying for.
Your message will go directly to the guide for that gathering. He’ll respond with information about the next meeting and answer any questions you have. If you don’t hear back from your guide, try again, or reach out to us at info@restorationproject.net
