“Do you ever get tired of people moving here?” 

My friend offered the thoughtful question as we discussed his forthcoming move to our town -  Fort Collins, Colorado. Over the past 15 years the town has grown fast enough to make the Irish guy pitching Scotts fertilizer proud. The population has tripled since I was born. I still shake my head in disbelief when my parents talk about where the edge of town used to be in the 1960’s.

Lessons From Climbing A 14'er hiking mountains need Mar 19, 2020

 You need more than a pair of jeans and a long sleeve shirt to climb a fourteener.

From a young age growing up in the mountains of Colorado, I have always felt part mountain goat. I have always loved climbing everything from trees to boulders to the roofs of buildings I probably shouldn't be on top of. And I have never once injured myself! It came easy to me. 

Fast forward to high school and I found myself with a desire to achieve the physical greatness and thrill I enjoyed as a kid...
